Transport companies lose money every day to inefficient routing, unclear vehicle status, and manual dispatch. FleetSync was designed to solve all three — a single dashboard where dispatchers see every vehicle live, assign jobs in seconds, and let the system suggest optimal routes.
The interface is built around the map — because that's where dispatchers live. Vehicle statuses use color coding readable at a glance, and critical alerts surface without burying the operator in noise. Every screen was tested against one question: can a dispatcher act on this in under five seconds?
Built with React and Node.js on AWS, FleetSync processes live GPS streams through WebSocket connections for sub-second map updates. PostgreSQL with PostGIS handles geospatial queries, and the routing engine factors in traffic, vehicle type, and driver hours.
The result is a platform that replaces three separate tools with one. Dispatch time per job drops from minutes to seconds, and management gets fleet-wide analytics that simply didn't exist before — fuel patterns, idle time, and route efficiency in real dashboards.
