Solar Wise — case study cover

The brief

Residential solar runs on expensive clicks and a long, suspicious consideration window. Homeowners have been called by too many people. The site has to earn a phone number from someone who has already learned not to give one out.

The work

The quote form went above the fold and stayed there. Four fields. No account, no portal, no 'schedule a consultation' euphemism — a homeowner wants a number, and every field between them and that number costs conversions.

Credibility was stacked in the order strangers actually accept it: press mastheads first, then platform-badged reviews, then the installer himself. People believe institutions before they believe individuals. Putting the founder's face at the top feels warm and converts worse.

Calls we made

01

WordPress, because their marketing hire updates offers weekly and should never need us to do it.

02

Ads point at the quote page, not the homepage. Paid traffic that has to navigate is paid traffic wasted.

03

Service tiles for residential, commercial, off-grid and battery — four intents that were arriving as one blurred audience.
