Web design

Every page, every state, desktop and mobile — designed so it can be built without a second round of decisions.

Why this matters

Most web design that goes wrong does not go wrong at the visual stage. It goes wrong because someone designed a beautiful homepage, skipped the eleven other templates, and left the developer to invent them at build time. By the time anyone notices, the site is live and inconsistent.

We design the whole thing. Every page, the empty states, the error states, the mobile layout, the thing that happens when a headline runs to three lines instead of two. That is not thoroughness for its own sake — it is what stops the build turning into a negotiation.

What you get

01

Structure before surface

What the site needs to say, in what order, for the person actually reading it. Sitemap and page structure agreed before anything gets styled.

02

Every page, both breakpoints

Desktop and mobile designs for each template — not one hero and a promise. Tablet where the layout genuinely changes.

03

A type and colour system

A scale and a palette with rules, so the twentieth page still looks like the first one. Handed over as Figma styles you can keep using.

04

Components, not one-off screens

Cards, forms, navigation and buttons built as reusable components with their states defined. The build inherits them directly.

05

Copy that fits the design

We will write or tighten the copy where the design depends on it. A layout designed around words that never arrive is a layout that breaks.

How it runs

  1. 01

A call and a written scope: pages, price, dates, what is not included.

  2. 02

Structure and wireframes for sign-off — cheap to change at this stage, expensive later.

  3. 03

Visual design of the full page set, reviewed in two rounds.

  4. 04

Handover: organised Figma file, components, styles, and a walkthrough with whoever is building it.

Questions

Before you ask.

Do you design without building?

Yes. Plenty of clients have their own developers. You get the Figma file, the components and a handover call, and we stay reachable while they build.

How many revisions are included?

Two rounds per stage. A round means refining the agreed direction. Changing direction after sign-off is new work and we will quote it rather than absorb it quietly.

Can you work with our existing brand?

Usually yes, and it saves money. If the brand has gaps — no type scale, one logo file, no rules — we will fill them as part of the work and tell you what we added.

Tell us what you are building.
